Northern Maine Community Trails
Presque Isle
Year-round trail network on 750 acres, mountain biking and hiking in the warm months, groomed nordic skiing after the snow flies.
Home / In the County / Biking
Paved rail-trails, gravel roads that roll over the potato plains, and singletrack through the woods, the County holds some of northern Maine's friendliest riding, and a few dedicated groups to ride it with.
On the trail
The classic County ride is the Presque Isle Bike and Pedestrian Trail, an easy four-mile paved rail-trail through town. Add the Southern Bangor & Aroostook Trail (gravel, Houlton to Presque Isle country), the St. John Valley Heritage Trail out of Fort Kent, or the singletrack at the Northern Maine Community Trails.
